First Call Hrm Pvt. Ltd is based out of Room No.-39 in Katwaria Sarai. If you know New Delhi-16, you know it’s a place where a lot of people are always on the move. Our office is small—just a single room, really—but it’s where all the magic happens for us. We’ve been here in Katwaria Sarai for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Being in Room 39 means we have to be very organized because there isn't much space to waste. We handle human resources work, which basically means we spend our whole day talking to people and sorting through paperwork. It can get pretty hectic, especially when the phones start ringing all at once. The hallways in our building are narrow, and sometimes the stairs are a bit steep, but we don't mind. It’s a humble place, and we aren't trying to pretend it’s anything else. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some biscuits for when we take a break. Most of our day is spent at the desks, typing away and making calls. It’s hard work, but we are proud of being a local business in this part of Delhi. We just take things one step at a time and try to stay on top of the pile of work.
