Our office is situated at 16/Iii, L.B. Sadan in the Gole Market area of New Delhi. Gole Market is one of those places that everyone knows because of its round shape and all the old shops and history. We’ve been here for quite some time now, handling the Express Retail Services Pvt. Ltd. side of things. It’s a lot of coordination, talking to suppliers on the phone, and making sure deliveries are on track. The office is usually humming with the sound of phones ringing and people typing away. It’s not a very big space, so we all know each other pretty well and it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork. We’ve got stacks of files and sometimes samples of products laying around on the desks. Being in the heart of the city means there’s always something happening outside our door. We usually go out for tea in the afternoon just to get a bit of fresh air and a break from the computer screens. It’s a straightforward business, no real bells or whistles, just getting the work done so our retail partners stay happy. We don’t really go in for big corporate speeches; we just focus on the logistics and the daily grind. It’s a good spot to be in because we are central to everything, which makes it easier for us.
