Excelsior Bpo

You can find us on the third floor of A-164 in Lajpat Nagar-I. If you know this part of New Delhi, you know how hectic it can get. The stairs up to the third floor are a bit narrow, so we all get our daily exercise just coming into work. Excelsior Bpo has been in this spot for a while. It’s a loud place, not just because of the phones, but because Lajpat Nagar is always humming with people and cars. We have rows of desks and everyone has their own headset. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, so we keep the fans going full blast. There’s a small balcony where a couple of us go to get some air during breaks, though the view is just more rooftops and power lines. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a few notes taped up. Most of the staff are young and they bring a lot of energy to the room. We eat lunch together at the desks usually, sharing whatever people brought from home. It’s a simple setup. We deal with a lot of calls and data, and sometimes the day feels very long, but we get through it. It’s just a normal BPO tucked away in a busy market area. We don't pretend to be anything we are not. It is just work.
