Ernst & Young, Gurgaon

So, we are technically tied to the Gurgaon side of things but we are based out of this house in Faridabad, specifically H.No 474 in Sector-11, Block-D. It is a bit of a different vibe than the massive office towers you see elsewhere. Working from a residential area like this in Haryana makes things feel a bit more personal, I guess. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to consulting and accounting stuff that people usually associate with the name. It is a lot of numbers and spreadsheets most days. The office here is not trying to be anything flashy. We just have our setups and we get through the work that comes in from the main branch. People often get confused about the address since it is a house number, but we have been here for a while and it works for us. The streets around here are usually quiet except for the usual neighborhood noises. We do not have a cafeteria or anything, just a small kitchen where we make our own coffee. It is a straightforward environment. We focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the audits or reports are done right before they need to go out. It is a lot of quiet concentration. We are not into those big corporate speeches; we just know what needs to be done and we sit down and do it until the day is over.
