Domestic Bpo

Domestic Bpo is right here in Delhi. Working in a place like this means you learn to ignore the noise pretty quickly. It’s mostly just rows of tables and people with their headsets on all day. It’s not exactly the most quiet environment to be in but we make it work somehow. We spend our time answering calls and talking to people on the other end. Some days are very slow and we just sit around chatting while we wait for the phones to ring. Then there are other days where it’s back-to-back and you can barely grab a cup of water or take a breath. The office is just a regular building in Delhi, nothing fancy to look at from the outside or the inside. We don’t have those big motivational posters on the walls or any of that stuff. We just come in for our shift and then head back home. The air conditioning is always running on high because the Delhi heat is really no joke most of the year. We have a small corner where we eat our lunch, usually just tiffins people brought from their houses. It’s a real mix of people here, some kids just out of school and some older folks who’ve been around for a long time. We don’t talk about big missions or visions for the future. We just try to help the people who call us and not be rude about it. It’s a very simple setup.
