You can find us at F-72 on the ground floor over in East of Kailash. It’s a typical New Delhi street, always something going on outside our door. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of the neighborhood passing by. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on development projects and coordination. We deal with a lot of reports and planning documents. It isn’t the kind of place with bright lights and glass walls; it feels more like a lived-in space where real work happens. We drink a lot of tea and spend hours on calls or typing up notes from meetings. The heat in the summer can be a bit much, but we have the fans going and we just keep at it. Most of the people here have been doing this for a long time, so we don’t need to talk much about what needs to be done. We just do it. It’s about getting resources where they need to go and making sure the projects we are involved with actually stay on track. There’s no big fancy lobby here. You just walk in and see people working. It’s a bit cramped with all the files sometimes, but we manage. We aren’t looking to impress anyone with the decor, just trying to be useful in the work we do. There is always more paperwork to get through by the end of the week.
