Deft Consultancy

We are based in South Extension Part -1, at B-44 on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is great because we don't have to deal with any elevators or long climbs up the stairs. Deft Consultancy is what’s written on the small plaque by the entrance. The office is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other’s chairs when we move around. We have a lot of shelves that are completely full of binders and loose papers. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep it all tidy, but we know where everything is, mostly. The lighting is okay, though we rely a lot on the lamps we brought from home. It’s a professional enough environment, but it’s also very lived-in. You’ll see personal mugs on the desks and maybe a sweater hanging on the back of a chair. South Ex is a busy area, so there’s always a lot of traffic outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to find a quiet moment, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We usually have a quick chat while the tea is brewing in the small pantry area we set up. It’s a practical workspace where we just focus on getting through the day's emails and meetings. It’s nothing fancy, just a solid place where we show up and do what needs to be done. We’ve been here for a while and don't really plan on moving.
