Dalit Foundation

We are over in Ghaziabad, specifically at Parsvnath Paradise in Mohannagar. Our setup is on the ground floor, which is part of C-3B and is looked after by R.K. Singh. It’s a residential complex, so it feels a bit different than a standard office building. There’s a small garden area nearby where we sometimes sit if we need a break from the screens. The ground floor is nice because we don’t have to wait for the elevator, which seems to be broken more often than not anyway. The office inside is pretty basic. We have a few cupboards for documents and a couple of old computers that take a minute to start up in the morning. It can get a bit loud when kids are playing outside in the afternoon, but it’s a nice kind of noise. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten to know the security guards and some of the neighbors. There isn't a big sign out front, so you really have to look for the block number. It’s a quiet place to get things done without the chaos of the main city roads. We usually have lunch together in the small kitchen area. It’s not very big, but it works for us. We just focus on what needs doing each day and try to keep things moving along without much fuss. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a slow pace but it suits the work we do.
