We’re based right in the middle of New Delhi, which makes sense because this city is always moving. Our day-to-day is basically just talking to people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across from someone in a chair, trying to figure out where they fit in the job market. It’s a lot of matching names to roles and checking if someone’s experience actually works for what a company needs. The office gets pretty hectic, especially on Monday mornings when everyone is looking for something new. We don’t have a lot of time for fluff. It’s about looking at resumes, making calls, and keeping track of who is hiring. Some days it feels like we’re just a giant switchboard connecting one side of the city to the other. There are piles of paper on the desks and the printer is usually running. We don't have some high-level strategy that sounds complicated. It’s just about knowing people and knowing what’s available. Most of us here have worked in different sectors before, so we have a decent idea of how things actually function on the ground. It’s just a regular office where we try to help people find their next step without making it a bigger deal than it is. We keep it grounded and stick to what we know works for the locals here in the capital. It's just a lot of lists and phone conversations.
