Consltancy

This office is based in the village of Tiuri, which is in the Nalanda district near Biharsharif. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city of Patna, but this is where we are rooted and where we do our work. We run a small business called Consltancy from here, helping people in the local area with various administrative needs and general advice. The office is a simple room in a building that has been in the family for a long time. We don't have fancy air conditioning or modern glass partitions. It is just a wooden desk, some plastic chairs for visitors, and a couple of computers that we keep covered with cloth when we aren't using them to protect from the dust. Life here moves at a different pace compared to the big cities. We know most of the people who walk through our door by their first name. We spend our days filling out forms, explaining complicated rules, and helping locals navigate whatever paperwork they are dealing with. Sometimes the power is a bit unreliable, so we do some of the work by hand under the natural light coming from the open doorway. It’s a very practical operation. We don't put on airs or try to look like a big city firm with suits and ties. We are just here in Tiuri, doing what we can to assist the community. The view outside is of the fields and the road. It is a quiet place to work. We stay busy with the local needs.
