We spend most of our time here at the Vasant Kunj office, tucked away in C-9. It is a quiet spot most days, though the traffic outside can get a bit loud during the morning hours. Usually, we are just busy with the usual paperwork and spreadsheets that come with being in the finance world. Most of us have been working in this part of New Delhi for quite a while now. We know where to get the best chai just down the road and which rickshaw drivers are the most reliable. The office itself is not fancy or anything, just a practical space where we get the job done. Sometimes the printers act up or the internet slows down when it rains, but we manage. People come in with questions about their accounts or looking for some help with their documents. We just sit across the desk and try to figure things out together. It is a lot of looking at numbers and making sure everything matches up. We don't really have big corporate meetings with fancy slides here. It is more about answering the phone and checking the files in the metal cabinets. It is a steady routine. We arrive, settle in with some coffee, and start going through the stack of work on the desks. By the time the sun starts going down over the Vasant Kunj buildings, we are usually just wrapping up the last few bits of entry work. It is a normal office life for a bunch of people just doing their jobs.
