Chamunda Trading

Our place is at Plot No 47/1 in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. If you are looking for us, Chamunda Trading is quite near the Aster Public School. It’s a busy neighborhood in Delhi, so there are always kids walking by and parents dropping them off. We are a small business that focuses on moving goods around. We have a small office and a bit of storage space for whatever we are trading that week. It might be textiles one month or household items the next; we just go where the demand is. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very careful about how we stack the boxes. If we aren't careful, you can't even reach the back desk to answer the phone. We spend a lot of time talking to wholesalers and trying to get the best prices so we can pass that on to our customers. It’s a lot of haggling on the phone and checking the quality of the stuff that arrives at the door. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble getting into the narrow street, so we have to help them navigate. We have a small fan that barely keeps the heat away in June, but we manage somehow. We aren't some big corporate entity; it’s just a few of us trying to make the business work. We know the tea shop around the corner very well. It’s just normal daily life.
