We are over at 5/78 on the second floor in Nehru Nagar, New Delhi. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just other buildings and power lines. Careerist Management Consultants Pvt Ltd is a place where we spend most of our day talking to people about their jobs. The office has been here for quite some time, and the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We have old wooden desks and plenty of paper everywhere. In Nehru Nagar, the streets are narrow and always full of people moving around. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the Delhi traffic, but once we’re inside, it’s just us and the work. We handle management consulting, which basically means a lot of advice and planning. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall; we just have our calendars and to-do lists. The fan hums in the background while we work. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby shop or whatever we brought from home. It’s a basic setup, but it works for what we do. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, just to keep things running smoothly for ourselves and the people we work with.
