Career Connexion

Career Connexion is inside Sukhda House, which is House No 54 in Madangir. If you know the area, you know it’s quite a packed neighborhood. Finding the place for the first time can be a bit of a puzzle because the house numbers in Madangir don’t always follow a straight line. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and it feels more like a home than a corporate office. There’s a set of stairs you have to climb, and they’re a bit narrow, so we always tell people to watch their step. Inside, the rooms are filled with old filing cabinets and chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable enough. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, though that means we hear everything happening on the street. You’ll hear the vegetable vendors calling out and the kids playing nearby. Our team sits in two main rooms, and there’s always a lot of chatter going on. It’s not a silent workplace by any means. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day, usually brought in from the stall just down the road. The wifi can be a bit spotty when it rains, but we manage to get the work done. It’s a modest setup at House No 54, but it works for us. We’re just a group of people trying to keep things moving in this part of New Delhi.
