We are over here in Sarita Vihar at the Janta Flats, specifically in Pocket N. If you know the area, it is pretty quiet around C/O K P Sharma’s place at 366-C. Most days we are just sorting through stacks of resumes and talking to people who need jobs or companies looking for staff. It is not a big fancy office with glass walls, just a regular space where we get the work done. The spot gets some nice light in the afternoon when the sun hits the windows. People come in and out for interviews or to drop off documents they forgot to scan. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks and we spend hours on the phone. It is just us doing HR stuff for local businesses and some bigger ones too. We have been at this for a while now in this neighborhood. The commute is okay if you miss the peak traffic hours on the main roads. We usually grab tea from the stall nearby when things get really busy and we need a break. There is always someone typing away or filing folders into the cabinets. We handle the hiring and the payroll side of things mostly. It is practical work. You won’t find any big slogans here, just a lot of folders and a few computers. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it is a bit of a scramble. That is just how it goes in a small HR firm.
