B.S.C Publication

Our place is over in South Ganesh Nagar, specifically at A-27/498-B. It’s a residential-looking area in Delhi-92, but we’ve got our publication work going on right here. The whole office is basically filled with tall stacks of paper and new books. There’s barely enough room to walk between the piles sometimes without knocking something over. We spend our days checking manuscripts, looking at page layouts, and dealing with the printers. The smell of fresh paper and ink is everywhere. It’s not a modern, digital-only kind of place. We still deal with a lot of physical things every single day. The furniture is mostly old wood, and the lighting is just regular tube lights that flicker once in a while. We have a small desk near the back where we do the packing for orders that need to be sent out. Sometimes the delivery guys get confused finding the address because the numbering in this block is a bit strange. We just tell them to look for the big blue door on the street. It’s a small group of us here. We don’t have fancy titles or a big board of directors. We just make sure the books get finished and the words are right before they go out. In the summer, it gets quite hot, so we have a few fans blowing at full speed all day long. It's a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which is good for reading and editing work. We’ve been in this spot for a while.
