Brand David Communications (Ogilvy & Mather), New Delhi

Our office is located in Bhopal, specifically at Type Vi/2 in the Income Tax Colony at Bharat Nagar, Shahpura. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a communications business, being in a residential government colony, but it works for us. We are connected to the bigger Brand David and Ogilvy names, but here on the ground, we are just a small group of people working on ads and messaging. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings every hour. Usually, we are just sitting around brainstorming ideas or staring at a computer screen trying to get a design right. Being in Shahpura means we are away from the really noisy parts of the city, which helps when you need to think. The neighbors are mostly families and government workers, so it’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. It just looks like another house in the colony. We handle various tasks related to communications, mostly focusing on how things look and sound to the public. It’s a lot of back-and-forth and changing things until they look okay. We’ve been here for some time and we have a routine that works. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do every day. We just try to get the work done without making a big deal out of it.
