Bharat Trading Company

Bharat Trading Company is located in the heart of the old city at Plot No-1228 B. We are in Gali Kashmiriyan, which is inside Kucha Pati Ram in the Bazar Sitaram area. It is a very old part of town, and the streets are quite narrow. You really have to know your way around to find us without getting turned around. We’ve been trading from this spot for years, and it’s a very different vibe than the newer industrial areas. There’s a lot of history in these walls, and the market is always packed with people and carts. Our space is packed with whatever we are trading at the moment. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. Living and working in Bazar Sitaram means you’re always around neighbors and other shopkeepers. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s a family-run kind of thing where everyone knows everyone. We take things as they come and try to keep our customers happy with what we have. The morning tea is a ritual here, and we often talk business over a hot cup while the market wakes up. It’s not a polished operation, but it’s how things have been done here for generations. If you’re coming to visit, it’s best to come on a two-wheeler because a car will never fit in Gali Kashmiriyan. We just keep doing what we do every day.
