You can find us at B-187 in Preladpur, which is part of the Badarpur area in New Delhi-44. It’s quite an industrial part of the city, so there’s a lot of dust and heavy trucks moving around all the time. Our building is a sturdy one, which is good because it gets loud outside. We’ve been registered here for a long time. The office is very straightforward. We have some heavy metal cupboards for our records and a few big desks. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decorations or soft carpets. It’s more of a boots-on-the-ground type of workspace. We usually start the day pretty early because the traffic in Badarpur gets really bad if you wait too long. There is a small chai shop just around the corner where we usually congregate in the mornings to talk about what needs to be done. The interior of our place is a bit dimly lit, but we have enough lamps to see what we’re doing. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend much money on making things look pretty; we just make sure we have what we need to function. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here from the main part of Delhi, but we like it because it’s where the actual work happens. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily logistics. Sometimes the water delivery is late, so we have to go buy bottles from the market, but that's just life.
