Arc- N- Decor

Arc- N- Decor operates out of B- 7/5080 in Vasant Kunj. This part of Delhi is mostly residential, so it is a bit quieter than the main city hubs, but the traffic on the nearby roads is still something we deal with every morning. Our office is a small space where we keep all our catalogs, samples of wood, and different fabric swatches for curtains and sofas. Most of our time is spent looking at drawings or talking on the phone with suppliers who are late with deliveries. It is not all glamorous design work; a lot of it is just measuring walls and making sure the colors don't look weird under different lights. We often have to head out to various sites across the city, so the office is sometimes empty for hours while we are stuck in traffic or sitting in a half-finished room. Vasant Kunj has a lot of trees, which is nice, but the dust still finds its way inside the office somehow. We usually have a pile of paperwork on the desk that never seems to get smaller. It is just a small operation here, and we don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood. We just try to get the sketches right and make sure the materials arrive in one piece. It is a lot of back-and-forth work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
