Space Design Consultants

We are located in room 203 of the Indira Niketen Working Girls Hostel building in Laxmi Bai Nagar. It is a bit of an unusual spot for an office, but Space Design Consultants has been here for a good while. Laxmi Bai Nagar is a central enough part of New Delhi, so it is pretty easy for us to get around the city when we need to visit a site or meet someone. Our office isn't very big at all. It is just a functional space where we keep our drawing boards, rolls of paper, and computers. Since we are in a hostel building, it is usually pretty busy around the entrance with people coming and going, but our room is our quiet space for getting work done. We do design consulting, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about how different spaces should look and function. We don't have any glossy brochures or a big sales pitch. We just show people what we can do with a pencil and a computer. It is honest work. Sometimes we are here quite late when a big project is due. The building has its own set of rules, so we keep to ourselves and focus on the blueprints. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us trying to make sure every design is as good as it can be. We appreciate the simple setup we have here. It works for us.
