Our placement agency is located in the middle of Lakshmi Nagar at K Block 119. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We’ve been here quite some time now, helping folks find work. It’s a small office and we don’t really go in for the whole corporate look. There are just a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a couple of chairs for people who come in for a chat. Anil is usually around, talking on the phone or going through a pile of resumes. It can be a bit overwhelming when we have a lot of people coming in at once, but we just take it one person at a time. We don't have any fancy promises or big marketing speeches. We just look at what skills someone has and see if we know a place that is hiring. The K Block area is quite crowded, so parking can be a bit of a headache for people visiting us. We spend a lot of our time just keeping track of which companies are looking for staff and making sure the candidates have their papers ready. It’s simple, practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It is just a normal local agency trying to help people get a foot in the door at a new job.
