Alpine Ply Rub

We’ve been at U-6 in Mangol Puri for a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly industrial stuff around us. We deal with plywood and some rubber goods. The shop is usually a bit dusty because of the cutting, but that is just how it is. People come in looking for specific sheets or maybe some rubber mats for their own projects. It is not a fancy place at all. You walk in, see the stacks of wood, and we talk about what you need. Sometimes the traffic in Mangol Puri makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in Delhi, just trying to keep the stock ready for when someone drives over. Usually, it's just a few of us here moving things around or checking the inventory. If you need a certain thickness of ply, we probably have it tucked away somewhere. We don't spend much time on computers or fancy filing systems. It is more about knowing what is on the shelf and getting it loaded onto the rickshaw or truck. Sometimes the weather makes the wood heavy, or the heat in the warehouse gets a bit much, but we stay busy. We have lived around here a long time, so we know the local shops. It is a straightforward business, no extras or complicated processes. We just open up in the morning and see who comes by. It’s nothing special, just work.
