Almisn

Our company, Almisn, is located in Lucknow. It is a city that has a very specific pace, and we definitely feel that here at the office. We don't have a massive building with a big sign out front. Instead, we work out of a modest space that fits what we do. Every morning, the staff arrives and we start going through the list of things that need to be finished. The weather in Lucknow can get quite intense, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers or the air conditioning is running right so we can actually focus. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a small, local team. We know each other well and we usually eat lunch together around a big table in the back. The work isn't always glamorous. There is a lot of sitting at computers and making calls. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which is just part of living and working here. We have some shelves along the walls that are getting pretty full of folders. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a working office, so it’s never perfectly tidy. People know us as the Almisn folks in the neighborhood. We don't put on any airs or try to act like we are bigger than we are. It’s a simple operation and we just try to do an honest day’s work.
