Aj Placements is tucked away in Shalimar Bagh at Aa-231. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of residential streets mixed with small businesses. That’s exactly how our office feels. We’ve been helping people find work for quite some time. It’s mostly us on the phones all day, talking to candidates and then calling up companies to see if they need someone. The walls are covered in calendars and notes. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. We handle a lot of different types of jobs, so one minute we're talking about a driver position and the next it's an office manager. It keeps things interesting. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather and talk about our own lives. It’s a local business, through and through. We aren't a big multi-national firm with a shiny lobby. We're just a small team in Delhi-88 trying to help people get a paycheck and companies get their work done. It can be stressful when a placement doesn't work out, but we just keep at it. That’s just the way it goes here. There are files everywhere and the computer fans are always humming, but we manage to get people hired. It is simple work, really, just connecting people who need things. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
