Aggarwal Toys & Gift Gallery

Our little shop is at 393 in J K Pocket, over in Dilshad Garden. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main markets, but we still get a good mix of people. We have toys and gifts all over the place, sometimes even hanging from the ceiling because there’s not enough shelf space. It’s the kind of place where kids come in and touch everything, so we are always straightening up the displays. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a local shop where we know many of the customers by name. Sometimes the neighbor's cat wanders in and we have to shoo it out. The shop floor is a bit uneven and the front door squeaks whenever someone enters, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We spend our mornings unpacking boxes and trying to figure out where to put the new stuff. In the evenings, when the sun goes down, the street gets a bit more lively with people coming home from work and stopping by for a quick gift. We aren't trying to be anything fancy; we just keep the lights on and the shelves stocked. It can be a bit tiring standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We usually close up once the street lights have been on for a while and things start to get quiet.
