Working in freight forwarding here in Delhi is always a bit of a scramble. We handle a lot of shipping and cargo stuff here at Adpl. It’s mostly about moving things from one place to another without them getting stuck somewhere along the way. We deal with a lot of international paperwork and customs rules, which can be a real headache. The office is always full of stacks of shipping manifests and invoices. We spend half the day on the phone with truck drivers or warehouse people. It’s not a glamorous job, but things have to move to keep the business going. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed at the port, and we have to figure out why. We aren't a massive corporate skyscraper team; we're just the folks on the ground making sure crates get on the right planes or ships. The traffic in Delhi doesn't help when we're trying to meet deadlines. We just focus on the logistics and hope the weather stays clear. It's a lot of coordination and checking tracking numbers over and over. Every day brings a different problem to solve, like a missing document or a weight discrepancy on a container. We've been doing this for a while now, so we know the drill. It’s a busy environment where the tea is always cold by the time you get to drink it. We just keep the boxes moving as best as we can without making too much fuss.
