Our team at Adecco Peopleone India Ltd is based in New Delhi. We don't have a giant skyscraper; we just work out of our space in the city. Delhi is a huge, fast place, and we are right in the middle of it. We spend our days talking to people about work and trying to figure out where they might fit best. It’s mostly phone calls and filling out forms. The office can get a bit messy with all the papers and folders lying around. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the long afternoon. It’s not like those movies where everyone wears a suit and looks perfect. We’re just regular people trying to do a job. Some of us have been here for years. The traffic in New Delhi is always a headache when we try to get to the office in the morning. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just help find people for different roles. It’s practical work. Sometimes the printers jam and we have to spend half an hour fixing them ourselves. We are just one of many offices in this big city. We keep the lights on and keep moving forward. It’s a simple life for us here. We aren't fancy and we don't have a glossy brochure. We just answer the phones and do the filing. That is how we spend our time.
