Our spot is in Nangal Raya, at Wz-1273/7. It’s a part of New Delhi that feels very lived-in, if you know what I mean. There are shops everywhere and the streets are always full of people moving around. Adecco India is the name on our door, but inside, it’s just a normal workplace with people typing away and talking on their phones. We have these old filing cabinets that have been here since we moved in, and they’re stuffed with all sorts of things. The lighting is a bit bright, but it keeps us awake during those slow afternoon hours after lunch. Speaking of lunch, we usually bring tiffins or find something quick nearby because nobody has time for a long break. The walls are a plain off-white color and we’ve got a few calendars hanging up to keep track of the days. It’s not a huge place, so you can pretty much hear everything that’s going on, which can be a bit distracting sometimes but you get used to it. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief when the Delhi heat really starts to kick in. We don't have any fancy art or expensive furniture, just the basics like desks, chairs, and a water cooler that always seems to be running out. It’s just where we come to get our work done every day before heading back into the city rush. It’s a very simple setup.
