Uni-Tea India

You can find Uni-Tea India in the Shiv Dham Building on Chakrota Road, right near the Co-operative Bank. We actually use all the floors in the building, which sounds like a lot, but every bit of space is filled with tea. Between the bags of raw leaves and the packing areas, there isn't much room to spare. The whole building smells like a giant teapot, especially when the weather is humid. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now, and it’s become a bit of a landmark for the locals. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s a working building where things actually get done. We spend our days tasting different batches, sorting through leaves, and making sure the bags are weighed correctly. It’s a lot of physical work, carrying crates up and down the stairs when the lift is acting up. We don’t have a marketing team or a bunch of slogans. We just know a lot about tea because we’ve been around it for so long. Chakrota Road is always busy, so there’s plenty of noise outside, but inside we just focus on the task. We aren't looking to change the world, just to keep providing the same tea that people have been buying from us for years. It’s a honest way to make a living and we plan to keep at it for the foreseeable future.
