Kalsang Friends Corner

Being up here in Mussoorie on Mall Road is always interesting. We are located in the Kulri area, right near the SBI Bank. Most people walking the Mall Road end up passing by our door at some point. It’s a small corner, hence the name. For a good while now, we've been serving locals and the tourists who come up for the weather. Summer months get very crowded, and we are usually on our feet all day. Our menu is a mix of things, mostly snacks and meals that people like to grab while they’re out. Since it's not a large space, you might have to wait for a stool sometimes. That's okay with us. The kitchen is small but we manage to get things done. Many of our regulars are known to us by name. Keeping the prices fair is important because we know things are getting expensive everywhere. Running a shop in the hills is a simple life. We just hope the food is hot and the tea is strong when you visit. Sometimes we run out of stuff early, especially on weekends, so we just close up for the night then. It's an honest way to spend the day.
