Doon Field Cafe

You will find Doon Field Cafe over at 213 Seemadwar Road in Dehradun City. We are quite close to the Big Cinema, so people often drop in before or after a movie. It is a small place where we serve food and drinks to the local crowd. We are not trying to be one of those high-end spots you see in the magazines. It is just a simple cafe where you can sit down for a bit. The staff is mostly local folks from around Dehradun. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen getting things ready. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and we do not mind if people stay a while. Being on Seemadwar Road means we get a mix of regulars and people just passing through. It can get a bit loud when the cinema lets out, but we like the energy. The building itself is nothing special, but we have made it comfortable enough. We do not have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It is a family-run kind of vibe. We handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving ourselves. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but seeing people enjoy a meal makes it okay. We have been here for some time now and feel like a real part of the neighborhood.
