Cafe Di Goa

Cafe Di Goa is on Laxman Jhula Road in Rishikesh. We are actually inside the Hotel Kunwar Residency building. Being near Laxman Jhula means we are right in the thick of things. There are always people walking toward the bridge or coming back from the river. The road is often dusty and loud with the sound of bikes and tourists. We started this place to give people a spot to sit away from the main road chaos. It’s a basic setup. We have some tables and a small kitchen where we make everything ourselves. We get a lot of travelers staying in the hotel and people passing through on their way further into the mountains. Rishikesh has a specific energy and we just try to fit into it. We aren't trying to be a five-star place. We are just a cafe where you can get a drink and something to eat. The staff is local and we’ve seen the town grow a lot over the years. Some days are very slow and some are so busy we can barely keep up with the orders. We just take it as it comes. It’s a practical little spot in a very famous part of town. We just keep the kitchen going and the doors open for everyone who walks past the hotel. It is a simple way to run a business here.
