St Judes School

Our school is located on West Canal Road in the Majra area. You get a bit of a different feel being right near the canal. The road can be a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s a direct route for most people coming from the main parts of town. There is a post office nearby in Majra which makes it easy to find us. The school itself is a collection of buildings that have grown over time. Since we didn’t build it all at once, some parts look newer than others. Plenty of open space allows the kids to run around during their free time. Some old trees provide a bit of shade during the hotter months. Classrooms are basic, with enough room for everyone to sit and do their work. Expensive equipment isn't something we have much of, but the essentials for a good day of lessons are all there. Water in the canal flows past, and you can hear it if the traffic is light. A small gatehouse is where the guard sits and watches the comings and goings. Morning assembly is usually held outside unless the weather is bad. Then we all cram into the hallways for a bit. This is a very normal, everyday sort of school. We don’t try to impress anyone with big words or fancy promises. Children come here to learn their lessons and be decent people. Most families around here have been sending their kids to us for a long time.
