The Heritage School

You can find The Heritage School right at 14/6-New Road in Dehradun. It’s a fairly central spot, so things can get a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but once you step inside the gates, it settles down. We’ve been at this location for quite some time. The building shows its age in some spots, with a few cracks in the plaster here and there, but it’s got character. We don't have a massive campus like some of those new schools out in the country, but we make good use of every square inch we have. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of kids moving between classes. We have a small courtyard where everyone gathers. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here for decades and some newer faces. We don't bother with fancy brochures or expensive marketing. Most people find out about us just by walking past or through word of mouth from neighbors. We deal with the usual school problems like leaky taps or a computer that won't start up. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We keep the gate open for the morning rush and then lock it up until the afternoon. It’s just a plain, honest school in the heart of Dehradun where we try to keep things running smoothly for the kids who come here every day.
