Waste Warriors

We have been operating out of 24 Pritam Road in Dalanwala for quite some time now. It’s a busy little spot. Most of our days are spent just trying to coordinate where the trash is and how we are going to get it moved. It isn't the kind of work that people usually want to talk about, but it has to be done. People call us when things start to pile up and they can't manage it themselves. We spend a lot of time out on the roads, checking on different areas and seeing what needs attention. My hands are usually pretty dirty by the time the sun is up. It takes a lot of planning to make sure the trucks are on the right path and that we aren't missing any of the smaller streets. We started out just trying to keep our own neighborhood a bit cleaner, and it grew from there. There is always something that goes wrong, like a truck breaking down or a bin getting tipped over, but we just deal with it as it happens. Dalanwala has its busy times, but the waste never really stops, so neither do we. We just show up every day, do the heavy lifting, and then head back to the office to sort out the schedule for the next morning. It is practical work, and we are just a local group trying to keep things from getting out of hand.
