Foster Public School

You can find Foster Public School at 167 Rajpur Road. Being located in Dehradun City, we get that nice, cool weather for a good part of the year. Rajpur Road is one of the busiest spots in the city, so there is always a lot of activity right outside our gates. The school itself has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it. We aren't one of those new international schools with a huge, sprawling campus. We are a bit more compact and tucked away. We do have some nice old trees on the property that give us plenty of shade during the summer months. The building is on the older side, with high ceilings that help keep the rooms cool. We have a small team of teachers and staff members, and many of them have been working with us for a long time. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, just the basic things that actually work for teaching. The students come from all different parts of the city. You can see the yellow school buses lining up every morning. We spend most of our time focusing on the basics of the lessons. It’s actually a fairly quiet place once you get inside and away from the noise of the main road. We don't have a marketing department to write fancy brochures for us. It’s just us. We keep the place running, fix things when they break, and make sure the kids are learning.
