Sri Guru Ram Rai Institute Of Technology & Science

Situated at 8 Patel Nagar, Sri Guru Ram Rai Institute Of Technology & Science is a pretty familiar sight for anyone living in this part of the city. It is a solid building that has been standing for years. We do technology and science here, which means there are a lot of labs and specialized rooms filled with equipment. It is not a place that looks like a five-star hotel. It looks like a school. There are desks that have been used by hundreds of students and chalkboards that have seen better days. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice, but Patel Nagar can get busy during the rush hours. We have a lot of people coming in and out all day. The staff is mostly made up of people who have been in education for a long time. They are not into fancy titles or corporate speak. We just try to keep the place organized. The courtyard is a bit small, but it is where most people end up during the lunch break. Sometimes the water cooler breaks down or a light needs fixing, and we just deal with it as it comes. It is a very down-to-earth place. We do not have a mission statement on every wall or anything like that. It is just a building where people come to learn and we come to work every morning. It feels lived in and simple, which is how we like to keep things.
