Benison School

We are over here at 34 Ats on Sahaj Dhara Road in Dehradun. It’s a busy enough spot and most people around the city know the area well. The school has been here for a bit now. Every morning the kids start coming in and it gets pretty loud, but that’s just how it is with a school. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running. Sometimes the rain in Dehradun makes the road a bit messy, but we manage. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where classes happen every day. We have the usual desks and boards and the staff stays busy with paperwork and looking after the students. It’s mostly locals who come here from around the 248001 zip code area. We don't have some big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the help trying to get through the lessons. You can hear the traffic from the road sometimes during the afternoon. We like to keep the gates closed when school is in session so things stay quiet inside. It’s a lot of work honestly. Between the exams and the daily attendance, there isn't much downtime. We just focus on what needs doing today. If it's hot, we turn the fans on, and if it's cold like it gets in Dehradun winters, everyone wears their heavy sweaters. It’s a plain, normal life here on Sahaj Dhara Road.
