If you head down Shankarpur Road in Dehradun, you’ll find us. Doon Christian International School isn't hidden away; we're right there where the city life happens. Dehradun has changed a lot over the years, but our school has stayed pretty much the same in its spirit. We have students coming in from all parts of the city. The mornings are usually a bit of a scramble with parents dropping off their kids and the school buses arriving. It gets loud and a bit messy, but that’s part of the charm. Inside, it’s just a regular school. We have our classrooms and the playground where the kids spend most of their energy. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s about giving the children a place to grow up and learn their subjects. The teachers here are just normal people who care about the work they do. We deal with the usual stuff like broken chalk, lost notebooks, and the occasional scraped knee. The weather in Dehradun is usually nice, which helps when the kids are outside. We’ve had many groups of students pass through these halls, and it’s always interesting to see where they end up. We just keep things running smoothly so the kids can focus on their books and their friends. It's a steady, reliable place for the local families. We stay busy with the classes and the small events we have for the parents throughout the year. It's just a regular school for the community.
