Centre For Advance Studies

Our office is on Municipal Road in Dehradun City, 248001. We are right opposite Drona International School. It is quite a sight in the mornings and afternoons when all the school buses are lined up and parents are picking up their kids. At the Centre For Advance Studies, we have a fairly simple setup. We are in a building that has been around for quite a while. Inside, it is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of bookshelves that are overflowing. The windows don't always close properly, so we get a bit of a breeze in the winter. We spend our days going through books and talking to anyone who stops by. It’s not a polished environment with glass walls or modern art. We have some old posters on the walls and a clock that’s always five minutes fast. The floor is made of stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a small corner where we keep a water cooler and some cups. Municipal Road is a busy place to be, but we like being in the middle of things. Sometimes we watch the rain hit the pavement from our front door. It’s a very straightforward place to work. We don't have any fancy titles or complicated systems. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. It is a humble spot in a busy part of town.
