Our group of colleges is tucked away on Rishi Dev Lane - D, over in Rakshapuram on the Ladpur Raipur Road in Dehradun. It’s a nice part of Uttarakhand, with the air feeling a bit fresher than the bigger cities. The 248008 area has grown a lot lately, but we are still in a spot that feels somewhat quiet. The buildings are spread out enough that you don’t feel too cramped. We see a lot of students coming through our doors every day, heading to various departments. It’s not just one single building; it’s a collection of spaces where different subjects are taught. You’ll find people sitting on the benches outside when the weather is clear, which is quite often here. The interior is practical, with basic furniture and standard classrooms. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations. It is more about having a reliable place for the classes to happen. Getting here involves a bit of a drive through the Raipur Road area, which can be pretty scenic depending on the time of year. The staff here are a mix of long-timers and some newer faces, all just doing their jobs. We keep the office open for anyone who needs help with their forms or has a question about the schedule. It’s a typical college setup, focused on the day-to-day routine of teaching and learning in the hills. We usually close the gates by six in the evening.
