We’ve been here at 182 Dharmpur for quite some time now. Being right near the Shiv Mandir means we hear the temple bells pretty often throughout the day. It’s a busy part of Dehradun, and honestly, the traffic outside can get a bit loud, but inside we just focus on the lessons. We started this place because there were so many students in the neighborhood needing a bit of extra help with their school subjects. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and a few whiteboards where we work through math problems or science chapters. Most of the kids live nearby, so they just walk over after their school ends. We know most of the parents by name because we see them every day at the gate. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living in Dehradun, so we keep some emergency lights ready. It’s a simple routine. We open up in the afternoon and stay until the last student finishes their work. People know us as the local spot for tuitions. We don’t do big advertisements or anything. Most people just find us because they live in Dharmpur or they see the sign when they go to the temple. It’s just a small team of us here trying to keep things running smoothly and making sure the students actually understand what they are reading. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place.
