Akio Coffee Private Limited

Akio Coffee Private Limited is located at 69/1 on Teg Bahadur Road. We are all about coffee, but we aren't trying to be one of those overly trendy cafes where you can't pronounce anything on the menu. We started this because we liked the idea of having a solid place for coffee on this street. The building is a simple one, and we’ve done most of the interior work ourselves over time. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it feels real. On any given morning, you’ll find us roasting or grinding beans, and the whole street ends up smelling like coffee. We’ve had to figure out everything from sourcing the right beans to fixing the espresso machine when it decides to stop working on a busy Monday. It’s just a small group of us here. We don't have a marketing team or a big strategy. We just want to make a decent cup and have a place where people can sit for a minute. Teg Bahadur Road is a nice spot, but it has its moments of being noisy and congested. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. Sometimes we try new things with the beans, and sometimes they don't work out, but that’s how you learn. We’re just local folks who enjoy the process and like being part of the neighborhood. It’s hard work and long hours, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
