Our company is Goldfarmer Krishi Producer Company Limited. You can find us at Rambhai Nagajanbhai Karmata’s place near the Vishvas petrol pump. This is in Village Supasi, which is where we all belong. Being near the petrol pump makes it easy for the tractors and trucks to find us. Rambhai stays there and manages the day-to-day things. We are a group of farmers who decided to form this company to help ourselves. In Supasi, farming is everything. We talk about the weather and the market prices every single day. The office is just a room where we keep our files and meet up. It is not polished or anything. We often have dirt on our boots when we come in. That is part of the job. We don’t use big words or have fancy meetings. We just figure out how to get our produce to the right places. Sometimes we have tea and discuss the next season. It is a practical life. We know every field in the taluka and who is growing what. Rambhai handles the visitors and the phone calls. We started this because we wanted a better way to do things together. It is hard to do it all alone. Here in Supasi, we stick together. We are just regular people working the land and trying to make ends meet.
