Windamere Hotel

We are located way up on Observatory Hill, right on B.B. Sarani Road. The pin code here is 734101 if anyone needs it for their mail. Being on the hill means there is a lot of walking involved to get anywhere. The air is usually a bit cooler up here than it is down in the main town area. We have been sitting on this road for a long time, watching the clouds come and go. It is not the kind of place that feels very new or shiny. The walls are thick and you can feel the age of the building when you walk through the halls. Most days, the mist just rolls right over the hill and hides the view for a while. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the fireplace is ready if it gets too cold. People find us by following the road up past the shops. It is quiet for the most part, except for the birds or the wind. We don't have many big signs or flashy lights outside. It is just the old building standing there on the hill. We have some old furniture and floors that creak a little when you step on them. It feels honest and steady. Life moves a bit slower at this altitude compared to the busy streets below.
