Vedbhumi Ites Private Limited is situated up in Siliguri, which is a great place to be if you like being near the hills. We are working out of Abhijit Podder’s place, specifically with Sebani Associate over in Baghajatin Park. It’s a nice area in the Darjeeling district, and it’s usually a bit cooler here than down in the plains. We handle IT-enabled services, which basically means we do a lot of computer-based work for other companies. The office is pretty humble, just some basic furniture and our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for us. We aren't a giant team, so everyone knows everyone else’s business, and we usually end up eating lunch together. Being near Baghajatin Park is a plus because you can step outside for a bit of fresh air when your eyes get tired from looking at the screen all day. We’ve got a routine down now, and it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive marketing stuff. We just focus on getting the jobs done that come our way. Siliguri is a busy hub, so there is always something happening around the corner. We like the pace of life here, even when the rainy season makes getting to the office a bit of a challenge. It’s a solid place to work and we’re happy to be here.
