Matrix Infoline

Matrix Infoline is based in Hakimpara, which is a well-known part of Siliguri. We set up here because it is central and easy for folks to get to without too much trouble. The office isn’t huge, but it has enough space for our computers and the few desks we use every day. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or answering the phone. Siliguri is a busy place, and Hakimpara has its own rhythm that we’ve become a part of over the years. We handle information and data, which sounds complicated but mostly just means we spend a lot of time checking details and making sure everything is correct. The staff here are all locals, so we know the area well and recognize the people who walk by. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of that corporate stuff. Usually, if you come by, you’ll see someone typing away or talking to a customer about a project. It can get a bit noisy when the traffic outside on the main road picks up, but that is just Siliguri life for you. We don’t make big promises or use complicated words to describe what we do. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the work as it comes in. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and other times it is quiet. It is a steady way to earn a living in this city and we plan to stay here.
