Soom Enterprises

Soom Enterprises is based in the Mal Dakhin Colony, up in the Jalpaiguri district. We are right near Kisholaya School. You can usually hear the kids playing during their break times, which is a nice background noise for the office. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while. It’s a busy little spot. We do a bit of everything here, mostly acting as a go-between for different goods. The building isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped. We have a small team of locals. We all walk or bike to work. There’s no fancy dress code here. We wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes and sitting at desks. The weather in Jalpaiguri can be unpredictable. When it rains, it really pours, and we have to make sure everything stays dry. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, people just call us or stop by because they saw our sign or heard about us from a friend. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay on top of the bills. It’s a simple life. We aren't looking to change the world, just to provide for our families and help the customers who come through our door. It’s been working out okay for us so far.
