Hm Group

Up here in Darjeeling, you can find us at Narayani Bhavan, which is number 27 on Sevoke Road. The air is often a bit chilly, so we usually have a heater running in the corner of the office. Hm Group is based out of this building, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Sevoke Road is a major path, so we see all kinds of vehicles and people passing by throughout the day. The office has big windows, though they get a bit foggy when the mist rolls in from the hills. We have some sturdy furniture and a lot of files that need constant sorting. It’s not a high-tech place, but we have what we need to get through the daily work. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy because of the weather, so we end up doing more pen-and-paper work than we expected. We usually share a pot of tea in the afternoons to stay warm. The building itself is quite solid and has seen many seasons. We don't really go for fancy presentations; we just talk to people plainly and try to keep things moving. Living and working in the district of Darjeeling has its own pace, which is a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. It’s a practical place to be, and we just do our best to stay on top of our responsibilities every day.
